They have a Porsche smart key in the phone, does it open/lock the car automatically if the phone is close to the vehicle? without having to lock/unlock manually from the phone/key.

Yes, it can. But this is completely up to if you opt for it in the settings menu. The settings you choose will automatically be opted with the physical key as well.

I for example only have the function that It opens if I put my hand on the door handle, but when I get far away from the car it locks by itself. Really annoying walking near the car on the driveway with the phone in my pocket and it opening all the time
