I just clicked on a link here which took me to a Macan EV forum

@W1NGE posted an intriguing click-baitish post today with a link which, when I followed it, took me to a Macan EV forum which I would need to join, it seems.

I hate SUVs with a deep loathing, have no need of one and never will, as far as I can see, so I would ideally like to make sure such timewasting (for me) links don't show up in my feed.

Is there any way I can make this happen?

I experienced the same, although I like the Macan EV, I don’t want to spend more time on fora so don’t want to be a member. It seems like the admin wants to position the new forum to attract new members, and this forum is used to do so.

It’s worth noting @Administrator asked the forum a while back what we’d prefer to see in terms of an expanded Porsche EV forum. I voted to keep it all together so I didn’t need different logins. It looks like they solved it by separating it and allowing the same login.

My post was in the Macan EV forum and not the Taycan one (for this reason) but clearly it is clickable from here.

You can unregister from the Macan EV forum (I think we may all have been auto added) as the nuclear option.

I saw that but we are all automatically registered for the Macan forum with our login from this forum, I haven't and won't register but currently the only way to avoid it is to look to see this before clicking on a message, which I now do but a bit of an uneccesary PITA.

I wish to choose which forums I want to look at myself. I am really pissed off that clicking on an item in a "new post" list here sends me to another forum I havn't chosen

I can’t find a way to ignore the Macan forum and no wat to ignore from inside the Ignoring box, just the ability to un-ignore
