I never experienced PAR, so it might be a huge disappointment in the end when I test drive, but it's really being hyped up by reviewers. Too bad the base does not have that option since I don't really need the speed of an S.
The heart says "go all out and get a reasonably specced Turbo!!!", but...
Not worth its own topic I think, so putting it here. The Turbo has absurd performance for an SUV.
The Cayenne dethroned the Urus Performante, which achieved 1.04 g, and outdoes the other large electric SUVs by a huge margin, with the Rivian logging 0.80 g and the Lucid registering 0.90 g.
This...
Good post, thank you. You might be right, but since this will be my first Porsche and I hope it'll last me years, I want to get it right. The thing with PAR is, it's unique to Porsche and it's lauded by almost all reviewers. I have no idea if the cost is justifyable and I don't know if a test...
Thanks all. We almost bought a young used Macan EV a couple of months back, but I just couldn't do it. I couldn't justify the money we'd have to spend. When spending this much, it has to be a proper upgrade. Talking about driving dynamics and charging curves to my wife who was sitting in the...
@CHP can you comment more about the interior quality compared to your Macan? When I checked the Macan EV, it wasn't really an upgrade compared to my I-Pace when only taking interior (build) quality into account. Did you feel moving to the Cayenne was definitely an upgrade?
I did a roadtrip in the UK two years ago and I was pleasantly surpised by Gridserve. Many locations and almost all locations had 10+ chargers. Even with my I-Pace's shitty charging curve, it was a great roadtrip.
For me, a man with a family, anything above 100kWh is just too much really. I'd be...
Yes, a compromise I was willing to make because it has great driving dynamics. Otherwise I'd had to consider a station wagon :whew: I need a bigger car in the near future due to the kids growing up (really fast!), so the Cayenne is another compromise for me. It's really big, but (hopefully)...
I never liked coupe styling on SUVs, looks bloated and weird to me, but I might be an outlier :) I don't like SUVs though, so I am already biased against them. If you really need an SUV for practicality reasons, might as well go for a proper one.
As for base vs. S, I'd first ask myself how long...
I think the main questions are: why do you buy a car? If it's just a tool to go from A to B. Why not buy a nice tool for 30k? If it's just driving an EV. Why not a cheap Kia/Hyundai/Tesla? Everyone has a reason to spend this amount of money, whether it be practicality, luxury, affordability or...
