New Mercedes Vision EQXX...Look at all familiar?

Apparently the street tested this car to see if the aero stuff really holds up and that they can drive it with under 10kWh/100km highway speed. They did get 1000km. Maybe important proof of concept for Merc?

The car or the big display inside? :)

New Mercedes Vision EQXX...Look at all familiar?

Me too! They also use a lot of artificial intelligence to design the parts to reduce material usage in order to save costs and weight. This is cool tech...

Will you test drive the Mercedes EQS?

Just a concept car anyway. But import for Merc to see what can be done with their $100m wind channel. I think once we see the 150kWh battery (600kg) become standard in the luxury segment, the styling swings back from air dynamic to eye pleasing... So I think even the EQS styling will not...

Will you test drive the Mercedes EQS?

Disgusting! As if a sales contract on paper is nothing worth! I am curious to see, how the order process will work over here...

New Mercedes Vision EQXX...Look at all familiar?

Certainly not my taste, but I still love it! We need fresh ideas, otherwise we all drive the same lolly cars. Interesting is the tech inside the car. Large battery with only 1.7t weight. Super efficient long range...

Will you test drive the Mercedes EQS?

Very interesting! I would not order it without a solid test drive.

Will you test drive the Mercedes EQS?

You are right, the Audi pic doesn't even have door handles... :) I also think, buy/lease now, and then have much more time to really see what is coming up in the next few years and pick the perfect EV.

Will you test drive the Mercedes EQS?

True, but their tests make the cars much more comparable, after checking out the price...

The 2023 Audi A6 with 700km range could be promising?

Will you test drive the Mercedes EQS?

Yes. Besides, the focus would be on interior, comfort and functionality, if it ever was released here...

They might have gone over the top with cw optimization. ;)

Mercedes EQE looks better than EQS

I don't think so. He is impressed how the German car manufactures are pushing forward with software.

Mercedes EQE looks better than EQS

How you could come to such an assessment, while purchasing the most expensive EV from a "legacy" (dumb fanboy word!) manufacturer, Porsche, as soon as it was available? Makes me speechless! A friend has a Model X from Hong Kong. It died, battery - electronics problems. The border is closed. So...

Mercedes EQE looks better than EQS

Of course not dead... If you look at what NIO, XPeng, Li Motors, etc push out in terms of autonomous driving, I don't think they are behind. A lot of big tech players like Huawei, XiaoMi, Tencent are in the game, next to Baidu with their excellent map data and technology. I have seen one of...

Anyone considering move to Lucid Air?

We had a Honda Odyssey. The A pillar was too big, no way I would buy a car like this again. So easy to overlook pedestrians and cyclists.

Anyone considering move to Lucid Air?

My ears are still ringing from all the fanboy hallelujah!

Mercedes EQE looks better than EQS

Yes, this guy might have tested more EVs than anybody else. Loud statements are marketing stuff. The reality of course is, that there is a big empty hole when it comes to available software developers in Germany. The German car companies have a big advantage with their deep and very long...
