I have the same, 21"CT wheels and I took 20" for winter. I've seen 19" in person, IMO, the look of Taycan would be ruined.

Any news/rummors about software reliability?

SUV is nice for older/higher persons who prefer easy ingress/egress. Taycan can lift up to 5cm…i’d love to lift it for 15 or 20 :giggle:

If/when bmw would make i8 electric, i’d probably give it a try….if they would have more reliable software as Taycan.

No way. if i’d get it for free, i’d sell it and buy (another) Taycan :angel: edit: i have nothing against AM, i just don’t want to go back to ICE.

Personally, i’d never replace Taycan. It’s a new car, the best looking car… and i’ll never go back to ICE. But, as i’m usually saying: your money, your choice. good luck!

@whan : I haven’t tried voice, but it’s easy to change from diffused to focused (or individual)…just two clicks. (first, you hit on AC on lower screen, then you get image of cockpit on upper screen with listed all three options).

Yes, CarPlay starts (almost always) ... but after a whileconnection is (always) lost... then it comes back (after few seconds... up to a minute or two)... or not.... so I could never predict "his" behaviour. CT4, MY21. software version: MPR3_ER_POG46_P3397 Would I change Taycan with Tesla...

Exactly my thoughts when i was browsing over their web. but I do understand why they (proudly) pointed out ISO cert. you see, in EU lawyers (with a lot od help of bureaucracy) simply took over all regulations. therefore, software company has to fullfill zillions of requirements, some of them are...

I know…i’’ve been in software industry for almost 40 years. i was just trying to say, that the value of gen1 Taycans will drop because of old, obsolete software, when time comes…

I’m just affraid that at some point, new version won’t be backward compatible with old hardware…so there won’t be any upgrade for MY20,21,22…

+1. check Cariad (=VW software company). the completely new platform, called VW.OS is announced for 2025…if…if there won’t be any delays…. so the question is, what we are using today, what we‘ll get tomorrow….and the day after…??
