PASM standard with three manually selectable modes ('Normal', 'SPORT', 'SPORT PLUS')?

All modes but if you don't have Sports Chrono (although chronic is more amusing) then Sports Plus drive mode will be absent. PASM Sports Plus is independent. Same as other Porsche models. Pointless on the base model IMHO.

Cayenne S EV article & video, each worth our time imo…

Yes we do - it's a worldwide offering - not many Ionity locations in Scotland. Was cheaper before the new subscription service was introduced after the "subsidised" period ends.

Cayenne S EV article & video, each worth our time imo…

UK is not bad but tails off the more rural you are. The issue is the cost of public charging and until recentl world events was more expensive per mile. Home charging remains (for now as "cheap as chips"). NA will be reasonably well served in major conurbations. Remember that in NA EV uptake...

Cayenne S EV article & video, each worth our time imo…

2.7 mile / kWH from what I've read elsewhere is not "spectacular" efficiency (my Taycans achieved better but range sucked due to low net usable) however saved by the large battery to provide 300 miles + (more if on 20" rims) of range will satisfy most IMHO.

    Cayenne S electric ordering....

I spoke with my dealer last week on this and had assumed the S will have additional allocations within the overall lineup. Apparently not (UK) and simply are bundled with existing allocations. If I wanted one I would basically be added to the queue for all models and when a slot opened I could...

Delayed Cayenne EV production due to global challenges?

Air suspension components apparently and impacts any Macan with air. Logically, if indeed this is the reason, the issue will spread across other product lines. It's happened before (failing air suspension components) impacting deliveries.

    HD Matrix Headlights

I've had the same roof where it was an option since 2003 and never had a single issue on all but my wife's current Macan T (so totally reliable on 4 different Porsches). This issue we had only last month (1st issue on the car in 3 years) was that the roof would close and then detect what it...

    HD Matrix Headlights

0.1 mi / kWh is the loss of range if sunroof fitted - weight not (apparently) a real consideration.

14-way comfort seat vs 18-way sport seat

I'm not 100% certain but if like other Porsche models the 18-way seats don't have adjustable headrests / restraints but the 14-way Comfort do. Personally I had 14-way in my Taycan GTS in preference to the 18-way standard Sport Seat for this reason. No regrets. I have 18-way in my 911 and miss...

Configurator available for 2026 Cayenne Electric EV - post your build!

Not sure you need to pay extra for High Gloss Black door handles when they are already the same color as the car - Chromite Black Metallic - appreciate the other exterior items (some standard) which are in High Gloss Black and you may have wanted to match. Personal choice but the wheels don't...

    UK build dates

Note that EK1 (preparation for wireless charging) is 1/3 of what you need and to this you'll need to add the Vehicle Charging Receiver Plate and of course the Ground Charging Pad. Expect a further £6K+ - nice idea but most people won't go for it I imagine and may find that their cable connect...

    HD Matrix Headlights

You will save but remember Matrix Design Lights are standard equipment regardless for NA and so you are effectively paying for something that is functionally deficient regardless as the individual LED switching is disabled and all LEDs are treated as one. Difference between standard Matrix and...

Cayenne S EV added to Electric lineup

Depends on timing but once again the sweet spot will be the GTS when released - 18 months out is my guess. Add £10K to the S and you'll be close. Either way a lot of rent but supercar performance that you can't really use. Space - could be the reason suggested. If worried about bragging -...

Cayenne S EV added to Electric lineup

The perils of pulling the trigger too soon - the S (and GTS) were always going to surface. I suspect there will be separate allocations for this model so you should get lucky.

    Configurator Change Chronology

Cayenne S now released - same kit as Cayenne but 1 sec quicker and material increase in power...at ££££s more expensive. PAR an option on S and Turbo Interior style package

Cayenne S EV added to Electric lineup

Its a lot of ££££s for a software switch to release more power unless these are different motors. Curiously it is 20Kg heavier - different alloys / bigger rear motor (detuned Turbo) (?), slightly better range.
