Pricing is a pleasant surprise (entry model) with a good spec.
I think many Macan EV owners will be more than jealous and could pay more depending on spec.
Sure to steal Macan and Taycan orders for sure!
Do I have a spec already...of course!
I've had 2 Taycans since 2020 (4S and a GTS ST) but as private buyer I bailed out due to the depreciation situation. Awesome cars but 911 was a safer bet.
I may yet add either a Macan EV or Cayenne EV next year. I think the Cayenne will be the more desirable and better tech but pricing may be off.

First digitally, then in Dubai: double premiere for the Cayenne Electric
10/11/2025
Porsche will present its second all-electric SUV to the world on 19 November. The Cayenne...
This reads like the Cayenne EV is really pushing the envelope for Porsche - very impressive battery tech and charging curves.
Innovative high-voltage system in the Cayenne Electric: performance meets efficiency...
Given there will be both ICE and EV the platform will be better thought out than that of the Macan EV where Porsche have effectively scored an own goal (and dropped the ball). We now wait for the new Macan ICE or indeed a new model to plug this gaping hole.
Interior looks to have the Taycan...
I would skip the ICE Macan at this point (discontinued in EU countries now due to EU rule changes on cybersecurity which Porsche won't address on such an old model now) and go Macan EV if the wait time is acceptable.
There is no comparison between a Macan GTS and a Taycan 4S - the latter wins...
I'm still in shock that Porsche feel it necessary to charge for a rear wiper (yes, it's optional). I thought that was the preserve of 911s once upon a time
Shocked at the price hike too and there is nowhere to hide with the ICE version still on sale.
Perhaps there will be a GT or Turbo S...
They look remarkably similar to my eyes (lights a little different).
I saw the Macan EV in full camo in Edinburgh and it looked quite like the Cayenne EV - side view, rear view, false exhaust pipes etc. The Cayenne being a slightly larger vehicle (not my by much if you check current dimensions)...
