Thx for explanation, it's clear now.
You actually pay for usage of new car for the period of x years.... and the cost of that is difference between new and old vehicel (+interests).
Regarding EQS. Exactly my thoughts: amazing interior, boring from outside.
It is leasing and it's called leasing contract... since the owner of the car is leasing company.
If you take a loan/credit, then you are owner of the car from the day 1.
No, it has nothing to do with theft insurance.
It just looks that our "leasing" market works different, I don't know.
That's why I was interested in to learn how leasing looks in the States.
If I lease a car, I can choose the lease period (for instance 3, 5, 7 years), then I have to pay my part...
OK,no problem.... just wanted to learn something new.
In my country, if you lease a 140k for (let's say 3 years), you are putting 140k on the table.... for that given period. No difference if you are individual or company.
I see…, so in 39 months, you are going to pay let’s say 140k$….and then, you’ll get for the car….less than 100k And make a new lease for a new car?
what’s the amount ofdeposit, and monthly payment?
Is it worth?
I’m not familiar with your situation/numbers, but in my case, there’s no sense to lease a car for a two-three years, even if it’s on company expences.
@Gentleman Blue Is EQS already available in UK?
We'll get first "samples" somewhere in November.
@feye : only 120k€ for EQS? My Taycan 4 configuration was 147k€.
I was playing with EQC, made over 110k€, while EQS configuration is not available in my country.
Otherwise, my thoughts about EQS...
IF Rivian, then pickup only, no SUV, no any "limousine"... but I'm not going to wait another year (or more)
(I live in the country, used to have pickups before.)
If I wouldn't already paid a deposit for Taycan CT, I'd go for EQS.
In case that they are going to reschedule me one more time, I'll cancel the contract and wait for EQS (in January).
Missing parts?
chip shortage is known problem for months….and i believe that production never stopped.
so, they are dealing with backlogs, but being rescheduled 4th times, doesn’t bring me a lot of hope that 5th won’t happen.
