Well a Cayman S is not a GT4, and you can’t get a GT4 + an EV for the price of a Taycan. My 2020 GT4 just sold two months ago for $139k. I had to get rid of one of my cars for space reasons. The Taycan 4S stayed and the GT4 went.
The slower the adoption of EVs, the better. I want to continue to be one of the quickest vehicles on the road for as long as possible. The advantage of being able to make any pass or drop any car in a merge is something that I hope persists for many years to come. When people ask me if I like...
Still fugly and those doors are still ridiculously impractical. This is gonna be a vanity car for a few hundred rich guys to own and put 300 miles a year on it.
Ask yourself why you’re able to trade your car for the RS6 for such a small amount. Having owned a bunch of Audis, including an S4 and RS5, they’re all motor and not much more. Every one of them has been a flawed car that I flipped relatively quickly.
I was on a business trip in North Carolina a few years back and the rental co gave me a midsize Kia SUV, can’t even remember the model. Absolute base model, the dash gauges were literally that old orange dot font. But it drove surprisingly well. I was shocked. Peppy, good suspension and...
I’m actually a tremendous slouch.
If I got a lemon, I’d dump it. But the lemons out there are few and far between, as most people on here can attest.
If yours is a lemon, file a lemon law claim.
My car was awesome again today. Long drive, no error messages, alarm worked, and it’s charging fine as I type. And it drove like a Porsche, not an appliance. If ya got a lemon, sell it and get something else. I hear Tesla wait times are getting much shorter.
People just need shit to complain about. Someone could build the perfect car and people would still find something to complain about. Remember the old joke about the Jewish grandma walking her grandson on the beach?
Hilarious. The troll of TF, who doesn't even own a Taycan, repeatedly posting the same drivel on here is calling other people trolls. Your whiny posts are the Internet equivalent of the teacher from Charlie Brown.
Weird that 90%+ of the people responding in the ‘would you buy a Taycan again thread’ aren’t having those problems and would buy one again. Very strange.
Maybe it’s because a few people keep posting the same shit over and over again, while the silent majority is very happy with their cars...
Good friends of ours recently bought a Model 3 as their first EV, for the wife. She loves it. Husband hates it, can't stand driving it. Conversely, he was blown away the first time he was in my Taycan.
So I have a ‘22 4S and my car works perfectly save for Apple CarPlay starting up on its own when I get in. What am I missing that I’d get if Tesla wrote the code? The ability to play Pole Position or Space Invaders on the PCM screen?
I dunno, I keep turning my car on everyday and it keeps getting me where I want to go quickly, quietly, and safely in comfort. I think some people just seem to need something to nerd out on and complain about. In the immortal words of Louis CK '...the phone doesn't suck. Your life sucks...
Again, market conditions. Global supply chain problems, looming recession, equity markets cratering. Nothing to do with the CEO or company execution. The software nonsense is being massively overstated because it makes good clickbait.
