Well, indirectly you are. They effectively paid you by giving you a discount on certain travel and experience services and in return you’re basically developing and publishing marketing content for them.
NFTs as art are basically worthless. It was obvious to some from the start.
Fugly cars with cheap interior components. If you’re gonna do the ‘great tech, shitty car’ strategy, ala Tesla, ya gotta price em like a Tesla, not a Ferrari.
That’s a Gen 1. I wouldn’t have touched one with a ten foot pole.
You want a piece of crap? The base Toyota Camry we bought our kids a few years back, that seemed like such a good car new, but turned into a total pile of dog shit. Talk about a cheap plasticky hunk of junk.
Meh, I put 150,000 miles on a second gen Chevy Avalanche without having to make a single repair, just tires and fluid changes. Best vehicle we’ve ever owned. Tahoe LTZ after that was equally bulletproof, though I didn’t keep it long term.
Yet it does. And they keep making money hand over fist.
And as far as inventory goes, did any of you guys buy a new car prior to 2020? Car dealers used to actually have cars on their lots. That you could buy. Often they would actually (horrors!) discount to sell them. And they still made...
By WhiteX logic, you’d be a fool to buy a 992 Carrera S when you can get a Corvette that’s .3 seconds faster 0-60 for half the price. Porsche buyers must be idiots.
A slow car? Analogous to 40+ year old technology? Do you read the nonsense you type? :CWL:
You’re the biggest troll on this forum. Do you get a monthly check from Tesla?
Meh, if price is key, I’d argue that my $33,000 GTI S is a better car than anything from Tesla or Porsche. It’s a blast to drive, more practical than a Model S or Taycan, and the build quality is terrific. But we all know cars are more than spec sheets and pricing. It’s about the overall...
But this is Porsche’s strategy with every model lineup. It’s how they get buyers to move up to a higher model. It’s why they’re so profitable. They know they have such a desirable product overall that they can get customers to overpay for all the options, including more power.
The cool thing is that anyone who wants a Tesla can buy one, and anyone who wants a Taycan can buy one. My buddy has a Model Y that I think is a cheap piece of shit and I have a Taycan 4S he thinks is crazy overpriced. But we both love our cars, so who gives a fuck?
Tesla has no trouble...
