@WasserGKuehlt nice meeting you today! Your posts on this topic were helpful, and like you I had accumulated a lot of items- storage furniture, furnace, whole house water filter, etc. in the garage and the ability to DIY cut the tiles (using a cordless jigsaw) to accommodate these was an important factor. When I installed it, my car was out in the driveway for just a few hours while I was laying down the majority of the tiles and being able to park it back in the safety of the garage by nightfall was so nice. The brand-name products (SwissTrax or RaceDeck) have interlocking channels which drain the water towards (downslope, garage front usually). There’s nothing for mold to adhere to - the plastic tiles are smooth, and the garage floor is (usually) sealed concrete.
One of my pet peeves in the winter is dragging in frozen, dirty slosh which then just piles on the floor. With these tiles, all that drains out, and every month I run the shop vac over the worst areas. In the summer I’ll split the cover in 2-3 columns per bay, drag them out and pressure wash the garage, as well as the tiles.
For me, the biggest win is that the garage always looks clean; I’d broom it once a week before and it would look dirty within days (pine and fir needles).

I went with Swisstrax Ribtrax Smooth Pro tiles as I find them easier on my feet and knees as I am frequently in the garage, and easy to roll the lawnmower, hydraulic jack, etc.
They have been amazing at keeping my garage clean- I am noticing less dust settle on the car and also my floor mats stay clean as I am introducing less dirt into it. Also nice to be able to place delicate tools like my Dyson vacuum and attachments anywhere on the floor without risk of scratching them. The entire floor has become a useful workspace. The next time my iPhone slips from my pocket into the garage floor, I'm sure it will be fine and not scuffed up as with the original concrete flooring.
