It is sad that you have to limit your trips that way in the U.K. You are missing out on a great experience.

I am just back from a trip from southeast of France to Sweden , Norway, total ca 7500 km. And the Taycan is such a great car to drive in everything from +20 C to minus 20C. It was 20C when we left on winter tyres, which felt very strange. But we certainly got our value from them in cold and snowy Norway. Luckily we also had a functioning heater and still have.

I have driven a lot of cars in these conditions, but never anything that was as practical as the Taycan. Preheating when plugged in and charging was a fantastic experience when night temperatures went below minus 20C. Lots of comments from guys that were scraping frost off their windscreens! ?.

The charging networks in the Nordic countries was superb, some waiting time, but never more than a few minutes and alternatives were always available. My car managed a range of about 300 km, thanks to preheating the battery.

Trips through France, Germany and Denmark was no pron;ems at all, with Ultra fast chargers every 50 km or so.
