Road Trip Planning Guide (Recommendations from a 1400 mile trip in two travel days)

I have not tried any other adapters or cables than the NEMA 14-50, but I did experience that Neutral is not used by or relevant for the PMCC (or for any other EVSE, I guess).

Road Trip Planning Guide (Recommendations from a 1400 mile trip in two travel days)

Agree, as a travel option the PMCC is not an appropriate choice at all for the reasons quoted above, despite the "Mobile" in its name. As a home/garage car charger it is quite OK (the overheating is not a grave problem) but I would never spend that kind of money on it if it would not have been...

It is indeed unreasonably expensive but works rather well IMHO.

Does the Taycan make petrol engine supercars old-fashioned or even obsolete?

Does the Taycan make petrol engine supercars old-fashioned or even obsolete?

A bit like the current mix of power supply: - conventional electrical grid to homes and businesses in populated areas, - high-voltage power lines into factories, - gas-powered generators for homes in remote areas and for back-up purposes.

[US] - Over the Top - the well equipped EV home garage…for those that wish to "over do it"…

I have a 100 A line (on a 100 A breaker in the main panel) going into my garage where a sub panel has two 50 A breakers which each feed a NEMA 14-50 outlet.
