Talk about a click bait article headline…
They’re negotiating with the unions through the media. Gotta cut costs, both labor and infrastructure. VW will be just fine. The sooner they get the ID Buzz, and the EV GTI, to the US, the better. My ‘23 GTI is fantastic.
Love BMWs, but the drivers seats and ergos suck compared to Porsche IMO. That’s huge to me.
The 24 Cayenne S with the new TT V8 and new suspension would be my choice.
That’s your preference, but they sell like hotcakes because they’re great at what they are: SUVs. The CT is a station wagon with some plastic body cladding.
Errr, they’re good looking, comfortable, fast, and handle well for an SUV? ?
The new Cayenne S is a beast, just too expensive IMO. Still, I’d take one of those over trying to use a Cross Turisimo as an SUV type of vehicle.
I’m also super interested in the ID Buzz AWD version that’s rumored to be here late next year. If it’s not $90k, that might wind up in my driveway first. Would be a perfect people/dog hauler around a beach town like this.
But, but, but, but…I thought the Taycan wasn’t selling…that there were tons of cars unsold at dealers…that…(cue baby crying)…
As expected, the Taycan continues to sell great, both in the U.S. and Worldwide, and exceed Porsche’s initial expectations by a mile.
I bought a ‘23 GTI S base model about six months ago to split time with my Taycan, and I love it. A ton of car for $33k.
I previously owned a ‘17 Golf R for a couple of years and was super impressed with that car too. If they keep the production version of this new car close to this concept...
It is rather unfortunate that you take a criticism of a piece of metal and plastic as an affront to your people. Sensitive much?
I didn’t say the Chinese people were garbage, I said the car in those pics was garbage. I think the Pontiac Aztec was pure hot garbage. That does not mean I think...
Yeah, in 1985. :CWL:
The interior of my 2007 Avalanche was a Rolls Royce compared to that hideous Chinese garbage. If the Chinese are stupid enough to export that mess to the US, I’m sure they’ll sell like coldcakes.
Btw, it’s funny that you pick the US made car with the absolute worst...
Aside from the styling issues, Americans aren’t going to be buying Chinese EVs in mass for a variety of reasons. And there would be bipartisan support in congress for limiting imports from China anyway. Never gonna happen in large quantities.
Volvo/Polestar are a different animal than ground...
You say subjective, I say hideous. You honestly think an interior like this would appeal to US buyers?
That shower curtain material on the dash and door is a, um, nice touch…
