"RY01" and "justlooking" - two examples of people making accounts on other brands forums just to defend their beloved god Elon and his blazing cars.
There are plenty of ex- and still Tesla owners here, so no idea what their drive is.
About the exploding plaid: I was thinking the whole time...
Yes he has some good visions and yes he is probably carrying the burden of Aspergers, but.. all these false unethical promises and scams did not happen by accident. He is making money and business with selling whatever he can think of. He knows exactly what he’s doing. His business model is...
Off topic, but a funny and at the same time sad video about Elon and his company.
For me this video shows exactly why I cannot support a company like that, and I think many others feel the same.
Absolutely worth a watch.
Right? To each their own but I cannot understand how there are people saying the Taycan front looks bad or much worse than the Audi.
Were people staring at me when I drive my Taycan because it’s ugly? My life has been a lie ????
What is the purpose for your membership in this forum?
You are not owning a Taycan and are surely not planning on buying one.
Besides sharing your love for Tesla, I don't think you have done anything besides that.
I know you and others might see this post as toxic, but after reading things like...
OK I have to admit, I do not like this video.
- He launches the Porsche at like 5% battery.
- He says on "normal" the suspension is not really comfortable. Literally everyone that sat in my Taycan really liked the suspension. I drove through really bad italian roads and loved how the suspension...
Lane keeping works absolutely fine for me here in Europe. Barely had any issues or pingpong. I guess it’s another „developed in Europe“ thing.
All the Porsche vs Tesla comparison is still besides the point that Tesla has been screwing their customers since day one with false FSD promises.
You cant call people Tesla haters while defending every single thing people write here :D
I got respect for your experience and knowledge but you should calm down a bit :giggle:
ps: did they test that multiple times? If it's the old battery tech, that should overheat by just thinking of full...
All I can say is: left foot on the brake, right foot full throttle, quickly remove left foot off the brake, enjoy.
At the same time: Tesla guy still holding down the ludicrous Button and accepting damage to battery and drivetrain.
?
That is my hope. Porsche and the usual German suspects are very strategic with the cars they put out. Each Taycan model could easily run 100hp more without any risk. They just like to reserve some space for future models and/or don’t like to kill off their petrol cars. No facts btw. this is just...
„Handles better than Porsche“ is just throwing me off. In general though, even if the car is as advertised, why support a company that has been lying to its customers for a decade now, taking money for cars that won’t come out for years, randomly just remove extras of cars, send updates to cars...
I will be very surprised if Tesla out of the blue puts out a car that has better handling steering better everything than any other production car incl. Porsche. It still sounds to me like some random Tesla PR/Elon Twitter promo. But I am open for surprises. And hopefully if true, it pushes...
Besides quality handling etc. even the performance that is promised/fake advertised by Tesla just scream that you shouldn’t get a MS.
A german magazine tested the cars in continuous accelerations. The MS goes down to its kneesafter just 3 runs. The Taycan keeps on going like it should.
Well, do you want to drive an oil tanker or ride an electrified beast?
Like daveo Said it is a huge difference.
Unless you have to daily transport 6 children and 3 wives, the Taycan should do the trick.✌️
They put anyone on that road in fatal danger, so I agree with the others that I have almost no sympathy for them. I just feel bad for their families and friends. They have to suffer because of them.
Hopefully this gets A LOT of media attention. Let people think bad of EVs, but at least people...
