So many of the stats mirror the Turbo S. The infotainment wasn't mentioned and the screenshot in the article doesn't inspire.
I really like the two-door nature of it though.
The sub-second is designed to match the optional Porsche-Design clock on the Taycan.

I'm long on Porsche (at IPO price), FastNed (a Dutch fast charging company), Albemarle Corp (a lithium mine). Keeping on eye on LG Energy and NorthVolt (for an IPO).
I've more work to do, but I'm interested in owning stock in the full chain of EV related activities: raw material mining, battery...
Towards the end the presenter says: "If Grand Touring was still a thing, I'd be nervous. But the days of blasting across Europe are gone. So the category is being re-invented as an everyday car".
The implication being made is that long distance travel by EV's isn't possible. ...
Its a very good point, posts like: "Everything is fine with my car" would also get pretty boring and meaningless after a while (and weird).
Right now here are the stats for who's viewing the forum:
700 people reading without accounts vs 87 who have the possibility of posting something...
My 2021 4S has had its share of problems. Anybody who reads my posts here on this forum knows that I push my car out there on frequent 6000km+ road-trips.
Outside of the plentiful PCM glitches, my car had the following major issues:
Frequent 22kW AC charger failures – I'm on my fourth – often...
Also nice to see an American talk in terms of metric values (newton meters, kilograms, etc). Instead of the imperial system – what is it? – bags of sugar tied to an ox times 7/8th's of a furlong per rod – or whatever it is.
And yes, I know the USA is actually on the metric system – and just...
Something like this from Porsche would be amazing. And a CEO that can talk the technical details without getting into sales/corp bullshit – way too rare.
It is its own effective form of selling. If the CEO is this detailed - imagine how good the cars are?
Much more likely to be Microsoft. It is unclear (at least to me) is CARID's new VW.OS (operating system) and VW.AC (cloud) actually Microsoft tech or something different...
CEO forced out after supervisory board vote will be replaced by Porsche chief Oliver Blume

"Blume, who will remain Porsche chief executive once he takes over Diess’s job, has overseen the development and market launch of the...
I'd like a 2 door Grand Tourer Taycan with no back seats but the same trunk/frunk as the current car has.
The upcoming 718 derived EV won't have enough storage for me to consider for road-trips.
