Well driving home from a restaurant this evening we passed this thing which unfortunately I could not get better pics of as driving and this one grabbed for a few seconds whilst waiting on a light change - but unregistered and from the rear 100% the Tesla EV Truck - I'm probably way behind but...
So this reading from ca 2 years ago I assume given '22 tag expiry? Even with this low mileage (7.2 K miles) that beats my best observed guessometer prediction which was from end of my first year in 2022 :) - that was 296 miles range in range mode with AC off. 2.5 years and essentially zero...
The dongle port is located in the footwell under left hand side of dash console - it is ‘exposed’ so easily located but you’ll have to get your head down on the floor to see it or just use a mirror or your phone to take pic if you really need to :)
Indeed shared a pic before somewhere on here...
Well actually for a Hot Climate zone (as defined here) car you are pretty much in line with the rest of us - my Soh (Houston TX) with only 9200 miles (14.8K Km) is relatively stable at 88.7 (and that is after a recent cell rebalancing!).
I will add you to the chart if that's OK - first from...
All EA sessions are recorded in your MyPorsche Charging account and of course you can self record this and other data from each session (including non-EA charging) if desired.
Awesome stuff Ron - I think your car is King at the minute :) Only competitors are the Porsche marketing car and that not completely verified car from Slovenia. Will update shortly - and good balance having 20+% DC charging.
Here is an interesting graphic - have other metrics I need to post e.g. rates of degradation per mile driven etc. but need to organize before sharing.
The good thing (unless you're in my group! :)) is that the majority of participating vehicles (close to 80%) are still above 90% Soh regardless...
Ha, indeed, had considered it but the cost to retrofit/insulate the 18' high internal ceiling, detached building not worth it especially as we are actively considering a move to some pt. further north in next few years or less :) - that and flood control laws require us to have base wall open...
Your battery will be fine if left in the 70s-lower 80s for regular short periods but might just fare better if typically only in the upper 60s-70s as highest SoC. Obviously for longer storage periods (weeks) you should target mid-50s or even lower SoC as per manual etc.
The second vid def...
Sorry a bit off topic but anyone think that the Taycan will get a PCM update that will allow us to load non-OEM/3rd Party apps directly to the PCM screen as mentioned for the Macan?
Can't imagine a technical reason why this could not be backward compatible but def no expert there?
