Any thoughts/experiences with the Fiat 500e?

All I can say is that it's cute but a tad expensive - I'm sure it will be fine for intended use case.

MB EQE SUV vs. Waiting for Macan EV

Interior leaves a lot to be desired - a problem across the MB range. Macan EV will be more desirable and no doubt a better choice all round

Porsche 718 Boxster convertible EV spotted charging at 170kw rate

No new orders for 718s will be taken for the ICE versions for delivery in 2024. Will restart along side 718 EV orders and delivery in 2025. Must be major retooling to accommodate.

New Porsche “K1” 7 Seat EV SUV coming

    > 5m - too long and 7 seats suggest its a people carrier IMHO. EV Cayenne will be tempting enough on its own without spending yet more on this monster! I'm hoping there will be a fully electric Range Rover (the proper one) by then whereupon I'll seriously consider jumping ship.

Would you trade your Taycan for a Rolls-Royce Spectre?

No, range is just as crap!

BMW i5 as an Estate too

Apart from the X3 / ix3 the i5 / 5 series has got to be one of the most boring looking EVs yet - spot the difference time between the standard ICE / hybrid 5 series touring and the "new" i5!!

    911 Dakar a.k.a. Taycan CT tribute edition😁

No Deltas that year but pretty sure they featured in several along with the Lancia Stratos. The MG Metro 6R4s ruled the roost then - stupidly fast (and dangerous).

    911 Dakar a.k.a. Taycan CT tribute edition😁

Oh dear! I remember seeing the original participating in the 1986 Circuit of Ireland Rally (Billy Coleman) many moons ago when I helped to marshal. At the time the Audi Quattro was of more interest (awesome offbeat 5 cylinder drone) and besides, the Porsche didn't manage to finish (nor did Audi...

Panamera E-hybrid vs Taycan driving dynamics

Service interval is the same on all Porsches - 2 yrs (18 / 20K miles). For EVs they've padded out the service schedule to maintain revenue - I think that's what the comment refers to.

Will you test drive the Mercedes EQS?

Got a reasonable review in UK (handling not great) and as it's based on EQS (S-Class) its been around for a while software wise and therefore stable. Own battery tech and cathodes use a lot less cobalt (10%). Impressive that Mercedes beat all the other manufacturers to the first proper premium...

Will you test drive the Mercedes EQS?

I think it outrageous that dealers can get away with this practice.

Will you test drive the Mercedes EQS?

2.7T monster and doubt it will rate highly in the handling stakes. Decent range with its monster battery too. Definitely one for NA market and unlikely many on a UK school run.

    Every Porsche coming soon

Indeed! I think the RR EV will be out by then and time for me to jump ship away from Porsche....,maybe

New Porsche Luxury SUV to Sit Above Cayenne (+Panamera EV!?)

Not sure I'd agree with 'smaller' - I had a Pana ST (4 seat config) prior to my Taycan so have lived and breathed it. Ingress / egress for sure is better (different roof line) on the Pana. Interior wise and physical dimensions are so close (in fact the Taycan is slightly wider at a certain...

New Porsche Luxury SUV to Sit Above Cayenne (+Panamera EV!?)

Think of Range Rover as the target as latest gen will offer full EV drive. Different price point too and therefore more profit to be made. New Rangie bears testimony to that. Cayenne is too small IMHO (I've had 2).
