Well I hate to re-enforce that but I sold my M4 vert (2014 build, 2015 model year - the first Euro delivery M4 Convertible to the US no less) for $45K ca. 2 months ago with an offer literally on the day I posted it online - should have asked for more!!
The whole 'grill-gate' thing is what...
apparently you have - maybe read the manual ?- in the AC menu, look at top right on main screen - tap ‘Rear’ then tap ‘off’! Turns off rear and leaves only front on.
This beauty was in my local dealership last March - posted it in my Mods thread then - a little different I know :) Seem to recall it being in the $250K range!
The one beside it not too shabby either :)
No experience with Tesla so off my radar - again imo the AC controls are just fine but did take time to be comfortable with. And as both I and @Dee said, I very rarely muck with these at all so just not an issue for me.
In regards the rear AC, you can at least turn it off from the front...
I don't disagree re tactile feeling of analog dials/buttons which is exactly what they provide in the steering wheel, but my response addressed your contention that the only volume controls were on the driver's steering wheel leaving the passenger with nothing - clearly incorrect.
And in...
and the center screen where AC is displayed has a passenger side +/- volume button set on bottom right, always up front and couldn’t be more convenient for the passenger to also control the volume if desired - what were those Porsche engineers thinking!? :)
Crap pic but only one to hand; vol...
Have to say despite some initial reservations, I have gotten used to the digital AC controls and TBH do not really adjust airflow that often if at all (the most obvious loss of a tactile input), but mostly fan spend and temp which are readily accessible in one simple interface on lower screen...
Ha - ditto and you have my empathy :) - got to the pt I could barely watch them play end of last season - not sure I can keep enough fingers crossed for next season which will be yet another learning curve!
Hmmm, vid seems a wee bit 'oversold' for me - smacks of a paid ad for Hyundai :) - agree re design, not to my taste either, but good to see more product going out.
Original concept drawings were clearly (maybe too obviously) leaning on Porsche elements (as stated in pic) but a more recent 'rendering' added a big dose of ugly imo :)! Supposedly will have the 800V architecture - other details on web.
Sorry but for me (and perhaps me alone!), there are so many levels of ugly on this car, interior and exterior, that I can't ever imagine owning one - again all about personal preferences and I guess I've shared mine :)!
@Hirschaj
I think the section introduction I copied in below from your article is really misleading and/or incorrect - using a mobile EVSE overnight is FAR from an 'absolute worse case' scenario and no different from using many 'destination' charger options out there nor for that mater from...
Interesting - think this needs to be seen in person to really appreciate the look, stance, detail - could alter my opinion but personally was not ever really a huge fan to begin with (heretical I know and from an Irishman :)!) but do appreciate the history and engineering of the original and...
The ChargePoint really is excellent and the comment about detailed utility cost breakdown tops it off - but as said, can’t go wrong with the other top picks.
Crap that’s awesome - it would be amazing if they released a fixed and convertible top from the get go but prob a stretch! I’ll bet the car won’t be too far off the images shown here too (the convertible rendering a bit imaginative though :)).
Indeed - have to say hated and still do hate the i3 design but the iconic i8 was/is such an obvious platform to build forward with (at least high end) EV variants I was truly surprised that a full EV version did not appear.
We're waiting on the new Mini Cooper but obviously not a choice if you need a car sooner as absolute earliest I suspect we can order will be mid-late 2023 with even then no guarantee of an allocation!
First I'd seen of the Kia wagon - appears to be trying hard to echo the CT in certain ways re...
Thx for sharing. That grill again a non-starter for me but OK, let's park that.
The thing I find TBH just odd about this car is that it feels dare I say it dated? Listen, I've had various BMW (M's) over 20 years so was quite the fan, but when I look at this my gut reaction is more 'old' std...
