Maybe the preparation just means that if you get the car delivered and they might not have put it in, you’ll be able to do it at a dealer! So on the positive side you’ll have it anyway easily added later on :)

If the sunroof is built the same way as the Taycan, it means that it will naturally have a darker shade and ”always” blocks off the bright sunlight without the electronic chromatic roof. Basically the more expensive option is just a gimmick with little to none practicality!
