Totally agree. Very nice. Still surprised by the door handles. They must have decided the incremental aerodynamic drag was sufficiently minimal that they didn't want to have the complexity of motorized handles. This car has a couple of compromises from an aero standpoint that the Taycan does not...
It could be the camouflaged eTron GT with some simple paint image modifications. It looks about right. If it's that, it makes sense, since I always suspected that the camo'd eTron GT had non-production doors with traditional handles. You wouldn't necessarily need the final doors to drive around...
So this looks like an Audi, but the body colored grill insert to me makes it especially ill-suited for a white car. Unlike the Taycan, which looks especially good in white.
Also, really surprised by the approach to the door handles...
I think it's great. More good EVs, the better. While it's not a match for what I like about the Taycan, it seems like a very nice car. I will be interested to see how the new battery technology works out for them.
Agreed. Corporations that were too rigid about forcing hierarchy among brands and companies ultimately hurt all the companies. Think of GM and the way they forced their luxury and performance hierarchies. Eventually all of the companies got worse.
One of the early threads from a long time back suggested that there would not be a hatchback because of the weight that the apparatus to support it would add to the car. I don’t know if the Cross Turismo suggests that the theory is wrong.
If the Audi had been available, it would have given me a slightly lower-cost and lower profile option. I'm kind of glad that it wasn't, as I have a Porsche now! I also like the look of the Taycan more.
As an interesting aside, I wonder if this suggests that one of the customizations that we...
Thank you everyone for the contributions so far. Please let me know if there are regional variations, as it sounds like some steps may be region-specific.

I wanted to know from current owners what things they did and/or wish they had done when they picked up their cars. I know from my other cars that there are a few things that are much easier to do at pickup than later. I will compile and make a...
Perhaps it was by design by Porsche. The way the EPA tests work, there is a laboratory test protocol that the EPA specifies. It specifies the use of a dynamometer, speeds, etc. The automakers conduct the testing themselves, and submit their results to the EPA according to the test protocol. The...
I will take a shot:
First, there are, broadly speaking, two international test standards for estimating energy consumption of cars:
Worldwide Harmonised Light Vehicle Test Procedure ("WLTP"). This is a European test metric.
Environmental Protection Agency Rating ("EPA"). This is the US test...
@EnjoyTheDrive is correct about the way that they tested. They calculated the efficiency of the cars at the higher speed and then they extrapolated the range of the two vehicles.
However, you are also correct: The graph is stupid. Test range in the real world, not the track. People do not drive...
