I'm interested in hearing from those with both of these vehicles in terms of their experience with them and which one they tend to choose to drive more often. I have a Taycan and have been thinking about a Macan for a while but have held off. I think I would choose the Macan when I have older passengers, back seat passengers (I think?), trips to get groceries and supplies, heavy snow, hauling our dog, offroad/bad road driving, and drives longer than 2 hours (to avoid the wait for charging). Thanks for any input!
I do...a 2017 Macan and a 2020 Taycan. I do split usage as you noted. Usually the Taycan for longer trips (10+ miles) to save fuel and shorter ones for the Macan to haul groceries, etc. I also keep both fueled up to ensure I have the ability to use one or the other in case of emergencies.

The far does look old. Unless someone is paying $100K for it because its a "Classic" car. It is stupid to bother with ohj, you have to have this engine from whatever year for the car.

i actually don't really know what that means other than fixing my curbed rim.
A quick google search will fix that for you

Edit: not on a work computer

We have a ‘22 CT4 and ’22 Cayenne Coupe. We originally were looking at the Macan but it just felt too small. We use the Cayenne for road trips.

Great info everyone but how'd we end up in a discussion of rim jobs and blow jobs in a comparison of Taycans and Macans?:)
I don't have a cross Turismo and wish I did for the hatch but I much prefer the look of the regular Taycan. There is no way I'm getting my dog in the trunk of my Taycan!
I do wish the car could be set just a little higher as I've already had to replace the front lower fascia after cracking it on something. I find it difficult to avoid occasionally scraping the front end. I now just keep the suspension in the Sport setting so that it's firmer and doesn't bounce so much.

It’s the Taycan Forum and we don’t know how to stay on topic.

Traded my Macan GTS in for my Taycan GTS. Miss my Macan GTS as much as I would miss my Taycan GTS if I didn’t have it. Miss the more SUV like nature and exhaust notes of the Macan. Love the EV’ness, speed, tech and handling of the Taycan. Have also had 911’s as well as a 944. The only one I don’t miss is the 944. All great and all different.
