All the dealers I have ever gotten a loaner car from charge for gas if you don’t bring it back full. If it wasn’t full when you took it - it sounds like you paying for the gas needed to fill the tank back up even if it wasn’t full when you got it. They only way to avoid This is to point this...
I owned a 2017 model X , 2018 Model S and a 2022 Model X . Your new model S will be way ahead of your old 90d in terms of software and charging . Significant improvements in these areas . Fit and finish still lacking although a little better on interior trim. The Yoke is a huge pain in the...
I owned a 2019 Panamera 4s and liked the car as a daily driver but when the Taycan came out and I drove a 2020 turbo I immediately traded in the Panamera. Prior to the Panamera I had a 911 4s . I view the Taycan as the best of a panamera and a 911 combined . The 911 is an awesome sports car...
I have owned a 2019 panamera 4s , 2017 911 4s , 2022 lucid Air grand touring, 2020 Taycan turbo- and now own a 2022 BMW IX 50 and a 2013 Taycan Sport turismo GTS. I traded The 911 for the panamera because the 911 was a pure sports car with limited utility. I traded the panamera for The...
I went from a 2019 panamera 4s to a Taycan turbo. Taycan handles so much better and tech was much better. Also Taycan drives much smaller than panamera. I understand your move though if your making a lot of road trips and relying on EA.
Agree with the comment that Porsche and Tesla are on two different levels. However Porsche is still overpriced. Too many options that should be standard . I don’t regret paying 168k for my sport turismo GTS but it is not worth twice the price of a model S long range if money is a consideration.
It sounds like the only issue with your Porsche is range. Consider a charger at your workplace? Alternatively I would look at the BMW IX air a lucid air for more range. The model S is solid but it’s biggest advantage is the Tesla charging network which will be open to everyone soon enough.
