LOVED my M5. Really Loved it. Always an event driving it, but the car is invisible. It comes with a lot of things as standard that you need to pay extra on the Taycan for and it has more drama, but ultimately @f1eng has it bang on the money, noise and emissions...
I cam from an F90 M5 to my Taycan and although I'm underwhelmed by the looks of this, I think with some fettling an M5 version could look pretty good. It has always been a 3-box executive saloon and it's the most successful in the segment. They'd be crazy to try turn it into something else...
I’m very surprised to find that the PORSCHE PCM isn’t just a reskinned version of the software found in VW/Audi/Bentley etc like the all rest of the brands (that have reliable systems). Even more surprised to find how buggy it is.

On the Taycan, they’d be able to access CAN wiring from just behind the wheel arch liner. All they’d need to do is slice it open at the bottom outside corner where the connector for the main front bumper wiring loom is located.

The price point is actually a secondary consideration in my example. My point is that if a buyer is interested in paying more for a prestige brand, whether that's a car, a handbag or anything else, it's unlikely that they'll purchase a cheap brand instead.
I don't think anyone can argue that...
The Dacia Sandero is a small family hatchback that starts from £13,000. The Mercedes B Class is a small family hatchback that starts at £31,000. Both cars have internal combustion engines but it's unlikely that a person who is considering one, would also be in the market for the other. The only...
