I’d agree with this. Lots of need to say it’s “much better” because of course , we paid a shit ton more $ for it , it ain’t worth double - that’s for sure
It’s a different buyer, I don’t think people wanting the Porsche pedigree, distinction, and driving experience are cross shopping Teslas , if anything people like me graduated from a Tesla to Porsche
Completely different buyer , very few cross shopping these. Video states exactly what you’d think - Porsche is better “drivers car” , Mercedes more opulent and a better long road trip car with subpar looks.
Was at luxury hotel and they offered a nice lineup of Mercedes cars to drive - I didn’t notice the EQ until it was time to leave but did happen to take a burn in the SL 63 AMG. Although I’d never buy one It’s a nice car, great engine growl with cracks and snaps. I must say , It’s easy to take...
You obviously can’t go wrong with either car. If price OR depreciation wasn’t ANY concern which one would you pick? There’s your answer. Also, you’re going to take a huge hit with both cars, that’s the reality of buying a new car with no current incentives. Massive value propositions on used...
Although I’ve never driven the Bentley GT before I always admired them - anyone here cross shop these 2 cars or have any input on difference of driving dynamics or general input contrasting these 2 cars?
Absolutely no reason to buy new unless you like burning $. Great deals on used market, heck id even consider giving my 23’ mission e GTS spec up for right price.
I just sold a model 3 P and just took order of my GTS. I really enjoyed my M3P. Not the best car I’ve owned BUT It’s the best car I’ve owned when taking into account price point. The Taycan is more than 2x the money so it it’s not fair to compare. Ride quality, build quality, curb appeal...
I completely get it , It’s like meeting your favorite celebrity crush or something , you just want to hold on to the fantasy, the reality would never be as good as the fondness you hold
