It depends, haha. Although I love my Taycan, I am sometimes thinking of making the switch to a 911, more of a bucketlist item. But the Taycan is more practical, cheaper to run both in maintenance as well as fuel/electricity costs.
Hot damn, a Taycan Turbo S and a 992! I'll be looking up where you live Dee, don't be suprised if you see somebody drooling a bit near your street! :CWL:
I know you're one of the earlier Taycan owners with a 2020 model right? How's that holding up so far?
I had a contract from Sept 2021 to Sept 2022 for 0,15 per kWh, now the prices are around 0,60 per kWh (domestic). Fast charger is I think around 0.85 as well, don't use them. 99% of my charging is at 11 kWh which are around 0,30-0,40.
nah, same here across the pond (Netherlands). Moving up to €0,40-0,50 per kWh at public charging spots. Luckily I can charge at a customers when I’m at their site.
If the figures are correct here, the difference is 15 kgs - https://media.porsche.com/mediakit/taycan-gts/en/the-new-taycan-gts/key-data-and-equipment-details
So, a sporty family car lost to a true sports car, primarily because of the weight difference. Shows how amazing of a (first) EV the Taycan is to Porsche. That being said, still dreaming of a 911 one day.
I specifically asked to drive a 911 as a loaner when my Taycan goes in for some work in January. Somehow, the 911 still feels like a bucketlist item, so would be good to get some miles in on that now that I have the Taycan.
Exactly how I'm feeling, mine is due pickup in 2 weeks. Obviously on forums you tend to see the negative side, but I can fully relate to what you're saying here.
