  1. Spent some time w/ Lucid Air this morning… impressions

Keep us updated would like to hear your impressions. They are starting to become nice lease deals. Would never personally buy one but the lease is becoming attractive.
  2. Tesla Cybertruck’s 911 Gimmick

I can understand this and sometimes think this way. However the Taycan to me is the sexiest sedan ever made and is so so capable on backroads for what it is. To me this makes it worth it. Do I wish Porsche offered a performance boost for its existing customers for sure. At the end of the day...
  3. Tesla Cybertruck’s 911 Gimmick

It’s fine to have your own opinion and it’s yours to have. However it’s clear that it’s based only on your dislike of Elon and not the actual product (specifically the engineering behind the product). The comparison was clearly to show how absurd it even was. To be fair that 911T far exceeds the...
  4. Tesla Cybertruck’s 911 Gimmick

I believe they have delivered on the results. Whether or not they can scale it fast is yet to be seen. The 48volt system itself is long overdue and is a great stride forward. I don’t get the hate that is put towards Tesla or any manufacturer for that matter. Their crash safety is to me the...
  5. Tesla Cybertruck’s 911 Gimmick

Not sure where you get the 1/8 mile from anything I said. It’s all over Porsches website touting 0-60 which is what I was talking about. As for breaking the mold the entire ethos behind the cybertruck is to create a truck from the ground up. There are is a lot of forward and different thinking...
  6. Porsches v Ferraris

I do have to say I love both brands but both excel in different areas. The new Porsche’s, with the exception of a very few, to me are very mundane and not exciting unless you are really trying to push the car. Which on the street is not advisable. They are so capable that the ordinary street...
  7. Tesla Cybertruck’s 911 Gimmick

While it won’t depreciate Taycans more it is a bit underwhelming that our almost 200k car can be beat by a 100k 7,000 lb pick up. It’s not the only metric that matters but it is one Porsche touts and is the major differentiator between the different trims. While I think the cyber truck is...
  8. Lucid Sapphire by Savage Geese

Very curious on the sapphire but not at 200+. Guess in a couple years when it’s under a 100 it may be worth checking out
  9. 2024 Panamera interior revealed

Looks nice to me and assuming the .2 Taycan will be very similar
  10. The Tesla Model S Has Lived Long Enough to See Itself Become a Villain

really last I looked cheapest turbo s was 120’s. Just looked a lot of those are actually turbos that are marketed as turbo S only ones at 100 or below have a branded title. There are a couple in the 110’s though which is a nice buy.
  11. Taycan or Panamera?

Would keep the Taycan without question. Not sure why you have range anxiety based off your 30 miles a day comment. Maybe there is more to this that you haven’t stated. To me the Taycan drives a lot better, looks better, and is always topped off. Also if you’re worried about depreciation both...
  12. Lucid Sapphire by Savage Geese

Great video and like their engineering direction. With that said they ruined the design. For a new brand with all high priced vehicles they should stand out on the road. Unfortunately this just looks like a Buick. Not sure the company is going to make it
  13. Tesla Price Drop

I love the Taycan but even from the first release of the cars thought they were all underpowered for their cost. The base to me is unforgivable the lack of power compared to its weight at a 100k and up. I know Porsche is more than straight acceleration but that is one of the draws of ev. Each...
  14. [Perspective] - A happy Taycan owner road trip’s his Daughter’s Model Y…

I don’t mind the interface and UX of the Porsche. Is it perfect no of course not but it’s a car I don’t expect an amazing UX/UI experience. I do not interact with it much. I wish it was snappier to start up some times but that’s about it. Also someone mentioned the car won’t auto start. You can...
  15. Noobie Taycan Owner ...immediate long Road Trip .... Advice sought....

I did the same thing once I picked up mine and was also a newbie. My trip was only 780 miles though. I had a blast on the trip and even though I went straight through and didn’t get home till 3am I was still very comfortable. Just as you have said I would plan multiple routes on the better route...

Man even in range mode at 100% battery on all highway I’m lucky to get 215 out of my Turbo with mission E wheels
