People keep complaining about touch screens, but capacitive buttons are straight up a spawn from hell. It's taking the bad parts of physical buttons and splicing it with the bad parts of touch screens to create an absolutely unusable abomination.
If I could time travel and remove two people...
I would care to not just assume that the Macan won’t depreciate just as quickly as a Taycan. I think the main problem is that the market for used high-end EVs is pretty much non-existent. With EV technology moving so incredibly fast, anyone who can afford such cars will want to buy new...
Absolutely criminal. Like I said in another thread, I agree that weight is an issue for multiple reasons, but that applies to all vehicles, no matter the fuel type. Tax that specifically targets EVs is just utter nonsense.
A real shame if you ask me. Whether or not one would personally want to buy their products, Apple has a tendency of being a significant market disrupter anywhere they go, typically for the better.
it would have been really interesting to see what type of innovations they would have pushed. A...
It's just a dumb marketing stunt. If they hadn't already done the exact same thing with the Model X, I would even say it's pretty funny. The truck is in fact extremely quick, but any reasonable person would understand that this is of course a silly comparison for numerous reasons.
The only...
That's actually exactly the reason why I'm looking at a Model X :p. Two child seats take up a lot of room in the backseat, making it practically impossible for the second parent to sit next to them. Also, being able to essentially stand up in the car while mounting the child seat would be a...
I really can't stress enough how good the Supercharger network is. Here in my parts of Europe where Superchargers are available to all brands, I consistently opt for them over Ionity even though they're much more expensive and only charge at 150kW.
The overall reliability and ease of use is so...
As in, a full-specced Model X with all the bells and whistles costs ~€150,000 which is almost €100,000 less than the list price for my Taycan. No, it’s not a Porsche for all what it stands for, but the actual feature set is relatively similar for both cars.
Yes, there are obviously cheaper...
I’m not sure if it counts, but I’m considering getting a Model X as a complementary car for family trips. It doesn’t replace the Taycan as my everyday car, but with a second child, the Taycan is a bit crowded and the Model X is a great EV.
More on topic, as I see it, the Taycan is an amazing...
I did originally place an order on a Model S Plaid+, but later cancelled when the Taycan CT was released (the Plaid+ of course turned out to be vapourware so it didn't matter in the end). I'm honestly pretty disappointed at the new Model S and how little they have done to improve it where it...
Don’t forget though that Tesla and their fans only really care about the 0-60mph numbers. Any type of “soft” values like driving characteristics are all but irrelevant because it’s not something that can be easily embraced by tech bloggers.
Like all Teslas, the roadster is probably going to...
