Ehh, Porsche will always have some natural demand, regardless of the price point. I just got a $185,000 G-Wagon (G580), and similarly it's way over priced, but there is a waiting list out the door (especially for the G63).
And the range on my G580 is just 240 miles :lipssealed:
Might have a chance to get a G580 in a few weeks - 1st one in the US, so listing my Taycan for sale. The market has been all over the place, so it will be interesting to see where I net out with it. Listed it on Taycan Forum 1st (and exclusively for now) of course :)...
I drive my Taycan as a daily also, for all seasons. I'm really not an SUV person either. I had a pre order on a Macan years ago and got it without even test driving it. Never liked it and traded it in a few months after. Really torn on the idea of the G580. I can get one without ADMs but the...
The AMG is staying V8 but the 550 went V6. A lot of dealers are still asking for ADMs on the electric one. I don't think the EV market supports that right now lol
Lol! I love the car, but usually switch cars a lot more often then I have done in this case. This forum has been great for advice, so I tend to bounce ideas here.
Am I crazy for considering a G580? My Taycan Turbo is approaching the 4 year mark and I'm ready for something new. I'd like to stay electric. Looking for something to sit 5 (with preferably a little bit more space then the Taycan). I also had a Panamera before the Taycan and felt it was a little...
Anyone considering the EV Macan coming in 2024? I had one of the first Macan's when the gas version came out years ago, but sold it just a few months after (didn't really like the SUV feel). That being said, the EV Macan Turbo will potentially have as-much HP/TQ (possibly more) then the Taycan...
Bentley has their first EV coming soon and I believe they said they wanted to be all EV in a few years. I agree though, always liked the Bentley Continental convertible.
Googling: " Bentley will launch its first battery-electric model in 2025, and plan for 100% of its vehicles to be electric...
There's a EV Boxster/Cayman coming in 2 years :) I'm keeping an eye out on EV convertibles, but would need 4 seats. Polestar 6 is also on my watch list, but the $25k deposit to wait 4 years seemed a bit much.

Did an at-home test drive just now.
Pro's:
- The car is fairly fast - feels like a 4s 0-60, maybe even faster. My Audi S6 was 3.9s 0-60, and the Panamera 4S was tested at 3.7s. This felt on-par, mostly because of the instant torque of EV's.
- The car felt fairly sporty - not as sporty as an M3...
2021 is only the performance (dual motor) model. You're looking at close to $70k, minus $7,500 federal credit, and they sell a few grand below MSRP.
2022's will come with FWD models that are cheaper. Dual-motor will still land close to $70k.
