What are you talking about, a Tesla doesn't have better "accelerator pedal feel" than a Taycan.
And if you care about regeneration the Porsche is better, with way higher charge power and (very well implemented) blended brakes.
If you want a far that looks like a Mondeo and drives like a very...
Yeah driving into ski resorts in Valais this winter, sometimes young people were taking videos of the car on their phones. I guess that was because the car's so average looking!
The Audi garage near me has a couple of e-tron GTs. It's a nice car but in the flesh the Taycan is much better...
Reading the Motor Trend article the Plaid does not in any way sound like the equal to a Taycan in driving dynamics
Sounds like an understeering boat with numb steering. Kind of as you would expect.

If true this is not a good thing. As power is a function of torque x RPM, a flat power band means the torque is falling off right from the start.
A 2-speed box is a great idea for electric vehicles, regardless of "carbon stator" nonsense.
E: I should read to the end of threads before commenting
This isn't a point of view shared by many people, the Taycan interior is one of the best on the market for any car sector and Tesla is widely recognised as having problems in this area.
Complaining about the price of Porsche options is a bit like walking in to the American Bar at the Savoy and saying you can get a drink cheaper at Wetherspoons.
Having said that, it pisses me off that they don't even paint the wing mirrors as standard. Unpainted plastic really has no place on a...
The Tesla will need to make it all the way round the Nürburgring at least once, rather than "extrapolating" from the point it broke down like they did last time.
You can see on this walkaround that it's not a hatchback. It's also interesting how some of the interior elements, the seats particularly, are similar to the Taycan's.
I was pretty keen to wait for an e-tron GT earlier this year, but looking at the performance specs Audi are touting I'm not...
As it turns out that Model S have cast aluminium front control arms I personally would not want to be doing sub 10 second 1/4 miles, especially with the apparent lack of QC. Link is one breaking at 200kph.

In what way does it not matter?
Can the value go up indefinitely with no profit to support it? Do economic bubbles and collapses not have further impacts? If a bubble in Tesla stock is OK does that mean the next bubble is also OK?
Would you like to buy some tulips?
As I understand it the company has only ever made a program wide profit by compensating with carbon credits, and it looks likely there is some creative accounting going on with credits being sold against unsold vehicles. So yeah it is inevitably overvalued.
Ah. That makes more sense... so quite a lot of spin. I didn't spot the dimensions, maybe it was more clear live.
So these claims are all pretty speculative as well:
As ever I'm hugely keen to see the technology develop as quickly as possible, it's just pretty wearing to have to take...
If they can actually do what they say that will be great but...
Five times more energy dense sounds like BS; six times more powerful seems like BS.
In my area of work (cancer therapy research) if you make anything more than really tentative forward looking statements people will laugh at you...
I have a 230/400V 3-phase 16A supply at my parking space which I guess will be 11kW through the Porsche mobile charger. What do I tick in the poll?
Of course, Switzerland has to have different plugs from everywhere else, though they are quite well designed. As seen here in the hilarious "plug...
