Very different cars from one another. I would almost not even bunch the Taycan together with other EVs, as I don’t really see it as an Ev. It’s more of a Porsche that happens to be electrically powered.
My apologies, I didn’t realize you were the OP.
if you’re intent upon not getting into another Tycan, but want to be in the same ballpark, I would suggest at least test driving the E-Tron GT. And you’d save a bit of coin as well.
Best
It’s a large car; but in a different kind of way. It’s smaller than the Panamera, and it sits lower and wider almost like a super car. The cockpit is definitely compact in comparison with the size of the car.
Ideally they’d lose the rear doors, get the car under 4Klbs. and create an awesome...
Not sure they’ll do that. It would be the sweet spot, power wise but price wise it wouldn’t make sense. A GTS with turbo rwd slotted above the 4S is much more likely.
It’s frustrating that they didn’t give the rwd very much torque; in a sense de-tuning the power to meet a certain price point. The 4S and above models take advantage of the power band, but the rwd is a much more interesting car, engineering wise :/
