I switched from a Tesla P85 (2013) to a Taycan. My Tesla didn't have any autodrive stuff. It didn't even have park distance sensors. Early Teslas were quite different, even though the chassis was the same.
One "regret" I have is that there aren't more chargers at the start of my Taycan...
I really haven't found this to be the case. It takes about 20 seconds, at most, to authenticate and start charging.
