It's Auto China in Beijing from 24th April. I would guess it will be launched to coincide with that.

Test drive of Cayenne EV and Cayenne EV Turbo -- my review

The Turbo gets the V8 sound. The Cayenne and Cayenne S get a V6 sound.

Configurator available for 2026 Cayenne Electric EV - post your build!

In the Netherlands, so not relevant for the UK, but I got 8% without any effort. First time customer at this particular dealer.

PASM standard with three manually selectable modes ('Normal', 'SPORT', 'SPORT PLUS')?

Thanks for the heads-up. That's a bit crap. Was looking forward to having the V8 sound option. I assumed it was like the Taycan where the base models and the Turbo had the same sound, with only the GTS having a unique sound.

PASM standard with three manually selectable modes ('Normal', 'SPORT', 'SPORT PLUS')?

Are you saying that even if you spec Porsche Electric Sports Sound on the base Cayenne, the sound in Sports Plus will be a V6 sound rather than the V8 sound?

Cayenne S EV article & video, each worth our time imo…

Yes they do. I have a Dutch-based Porsche Charging Service, but use the IONITY chargers via my PCS contract mainly in the UK. Old Charging Service prices: UK = 30p/kWh (35ct/kWh) EU = 33ct/kWh New Charging Service Plus prices: UK = 39p/kWh (46ct/kWh) EU = 39ct/kWh Direct IONITY prices with...

First Drives Reviews for 2026 Cayenne EV are Here!

The model I sat in had the standard silver trim, but I didn't give it that much attention.

First Drives Reviews for 2026 Cayenne EV are Here!

I sat in and saw the new Cayenne Electric today for the first time. A few things I noted. The boot doesn't seem as big as the numbers suggest. Not that it isn't big. Just that it isn't as big as you'd think. The central display screen also doesn't look as big as it appears in the photos and...

Cayenne S EV added to Electric lineup

In Dutch spec it's almost €20,000 to upgrade to the "S", and that's with the exact comparable spec. I'm a sucker for paying extra for things I don't need and buy cars with my heart rather than head, but despite that it's a hard "no" from me.

Cayenne S EV added to Electric lineup

You can see it at 10:03 in this video. And at 23:20 in this video you can see the space. This video is the base Cayenne, but it has the BOSE specced. No, I didn't.

Cayenne S EV added to Electric lineup

Er, I'm not worried about it. I'm just answering the question from @rotortalk as to whether the smaller boot space in the Turbo is due to a bigger motor. ;) As for the Macan...I know. I owned a Turbo Electric until two weeks ago. I made use of the tiny space under the boot floor beside the...

    UK build dates

Each indiviual country decide what they'll offer as standard, depending on nuances in that market. The UK buyers are not getting "free" equipment. It's bundled in as part of the standard list price. If anything they're being forced to pay for something they don't want. Had the UK list price been...

Cayenne S EV added to Electric lineup

The Turbo has less boot space than the base model and the S because it comes with BOSE as standard, and the subwoofer is in the boot.

Thanks for the video. Just a note, though. The three passengers in the back are not actually in the Cayenne.

    Cayenne Turbo - Steering wheel

Surprised the salesman didn't know about this steering wheel. It's been around since the Taycan GTS facelift. I would love it, and for a while I was thinking of ordering the GTS facelift with this steering wheel. In theory, there's no reason why they couldn't adapt it for the base Cayenne. The...
