I have had a Bolt EV now for over 2 years. I used L mode (heavy regen on lifting accelerator) the first 1.5years. with only 2 wheel this caused uneven wear on the tires and generally gave my passengers a less smooth experience.
I have now switched cold turkey to D mode for several reasons...
Here is a comparison article that perhaps owners of each car can comment on the accuracy of. I am a little confused on the 0 to 60 times where it gives 3.1 seconds for the Taycan and yet for the Tesla it gives a claimed number as if they did not test it.
New Porsche Taycan vs Tesla Model S...
I don't care about videos where EVs try to outperform ICE cards based on better Torque curve. This one shows trackability of the Taycan and that's nice.

It also wasn't clear that the Taycan owner is overly familiar with the car. Never saw/heard an inside shot during drag race indicating he used launch control.
Nor what each cars SoC was at start. Very heavily cut video. Brooks promises a new test done in more controlled settings.
But again, I...
As I don't understand German and I haven't yet watched on a laptop with auto translated subtitles I can only detect his enthusiasm. But this is a 19min video where the drag race is only the first 4 min. Then he gets into a review for 15 min.
And another take from Motor1

You can clearly see the bias in this article from this paragraph that lists the 3 levels of Taycan pricing but only the rock bottom config for Teslas.

Sorry for the delay in my analysis @BayAreaKen. Lots of other good feedback too. But here is my take.
Here you can see what I think is the point of the story. That the Taycan WLTP figures are much closer to reality and also that the Taycan EPA figures seem busted as it betters EPA by 16% on...
I loved the Heart Rate shown near the end. He is such a funny guy.
Just reading English translated subtitles is a painful process. As sadly my German is similar to the Taycan battery as he pulls into the Ionity Charger, 0%.

See a detailed video on why Jason speculates the Turbo S will drop a Tesla Model S Ludicrous 0-60mph.
I found his video on range very fluffy and content free, but he did his homework here for sure. Even giving Tesla a 40% advantage of Torque Curve cutoff and Taycan still shines.
